Off to Halong Bay 18 April 2014

We awoke early this morning to organise our overnight bags for a sleepover in a junk.

Last night after dinner we had a 20 minute walk back to the hotel. At 9:30pm the streets were humming. Amongst the shops, scooters were large families sitting on small stools eating and cooking on the pavement. I wonder when they go to bed?  In fact, where they live?

Lance just cashed $50 US for a million dong. Food is really cheap. $17 US for dinner and beers the first night.
